I joined the family company in 2009 and since then have enjoyed learning the business and being part of the growing team we have here. Over the years it has been a pleasure working with long standing clients and all types of property. I’ve always tried my upmost to maintain and nurture our core company values and standard of service, so it’s always a pleasure when we receive some good feedback or a recommendation from a customer. I love sport and can be found on one of Devon’s football pitches most Saturday afternoons!

I started my career in Estate Agency back in the Seventies so I can honestly say ‘I’ve seen it all’ when it comes to property. I founded Robert Williams Estate Agents in 1998 and I’m proud that we’ve gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most respected local businesses in the industry. When offered the chance to 'switch off' for a while, you'll usually find me perfecting my swing on the local golf courses or enthusiastically shouting encouragement at an Exeter Chiefs rugby match. Having worked in property for over 40 years, I like to think I know a thing or two and I’m always happy to share my knowledge over a glass of red wine or a real ale.

Having spent several years living and working in the Kent/Surrey commuter belt I gained a real knowledge and talent for high end estate agency in the busy and competitive South East market. I then moved to Exeter in 2018 with my wife and 8 year old son, as we craved a change of scenery in a more family friendly area. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and after 4 years dealing with Luxury homes in East Devon coastal locations I moved to take up an exciting role with Robert Williams. Living in Exeter offers so many lifestyle choices for the family and we often take advantage of the coastal and countryside walks on our doorstep. As a keen golfer I am often found out on one of the local courses.

I started my career in property selling fishermen’s cottages in Padstow when Rick Stein put it on the culinary map, and have worked for other agents in Exeter over the years. Out of work I enjoy the outdoors- trying to grow a few veggies, walking, looking for rare butterflies, and planning my next trip having lived and travelled abroad quite a bit. Like my no-frills travels, my ideal home would be a beach shack on a tropical island with a sea view balcony for horizon gazing!

I love older property which has led me to specialise in listed buildings and conservation areas and I lived in a barn conversion for many years. Those who know me say I like to talk a lot which is probably why I was attracted to auctioneering and the power of wielding the gavel! My hobbies include travelling and hash house harrying (look it up!).

I have been with Robert Williams since 2018 and, coming from a background in law and sitting behind a desk all day, I really enjoy getting out and about and seeing such a mixture of different properties, areas and meeting new people in this role. I recently got married and spend most of my time with my family, watching Exeter Chiefs and exploring the South West and beyond.

Jon joined The Mortgage Quarter after 13 years of working as a mortgage and protection for a national estate agency group. Before that, he had a 10-year career in the Royal Navy.
Jon assists first-time buyers, home movers, remortgagees and those seeking a buy-to-let mortgage. In addition, he’s won awards for his protection advice.
Jon is a proud family man and loves spending his time off with his wife, children and dog, exploring and camping in new destinations across the Southwest. He also enjoys playing squash and is a frequent visitor to Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United F.C

I recently joined the company in the Summer of 2021. I am new to the industry and am thoroughly enjoying it. The team have been very supportive, and I am loving meeting people and finding the right tenants for the right home. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the theatre (mainly to see a good musical) and travelling.

I joined the team at Robert Williams, coming from a background of Workforce Management. Going out to meet a lot of new people and seeing so many new properties, each one with its own little quirks, must be the best part of the job, for me at least. I am always up for a challenge and enjoy learning new things. In my spare time I enjoy reading and watching good cinema and spending time with my wife exploring the Jurassic Coast.

I am a PR and marketing consultant and have worked with independent estate agencies across the Southwest for more than 20 years. I have previously worked in estate agency and began my marketing career with a tech agency in Oxfordshire in 2000. I have two young children and love family holidays, playing racquet sports and cuddling my beautiful cat!
